Due to some restructuring of our organization, SCRA will not be sponsoring the Writing Contest for the 2011-12 school year. It has been increasingly difficult to enlist the help of enough judges to adequately judge all the entries. If you are interested in helping judge the writing contest when it is held next year (2012-2013) please email Jackie Albright.

The judging takes place on one evening from 4:00 pm to 7:30 pm. Dinner is provided. It is a great opportunity to read many wonderful pieces of student writing, get a lot of ideas, and collaborate with other teachers of writing! Please consider helping so we can celebrate our county's young writers.
